Making Church

New to Vision Church?

We are so happy you are coming to join us for worship. We can’t wait to see you. Here are some answers to questions you may have about your first visit.

You can expect a warm greeting, refreshments, and a come as you are atmosphere. Vision Church is a judgment free zone, where everyone is welcomed equally. You’re among friends here, so don’t worry over what to wear.

Our services feature modern worship songs. Words are on the screens so you can sing along. The services last a little over an hour. Nursery and toddler care is provided by a well trained and background cleared staff and volunteers. Children may also be dismissed for children’s church after we sing. We don’t believe church should be boring or scary, so we will do all we can to help you feel at home - and have some fun along the way.

We will take up an offering during the service. If you’d like to partner with us in ministry through giving, you are welcome. However, you may not be prepared to give just yet. That is perfectly fine as well. You won’t feel any pressure to give - just enjoy our time together.

Hopefully, this answered some of your questions. We hope to see you soon!
Hard to believe, but 2021 is finally here! To start our year off in the best possible way, we are inviting you to join us for a time of seeking God's face with 21 days of prayer and fasting. We are also very excited to be partnering with Central Church of Christ - Fayette for these services! Prayer services are January 3-23 and will be held at Central’s campus. The schedule is every weekday 6-7am and Saturdays 9-10am. More information, along with access to on-demand service recordings, is available from the Church of the Highlands website (click below).
Tithing to God is a beautiful act of obedience and love. Not only does it help support the ministry of the church into our community, but it also strengthens your relationship with Christ. And while we offer a place for giving during our worship services, we also offer this portal here for your convenience. Our online giving is safe and easy. You can make a one-time gift or set up recurring donations. Just click on the button below and remember - God loves a cheerful giver!

About Us

In the fall of 2019, God began to grow a seed within the hearts of several local families for a new movement in our community. That seed had been planted by a desire for a spiritual awakening and watered by a holy discontent for more. God desired to move in a new way in our community and wanted a new vessel to move through. After much prayer, these families stepped out in faith, first into a living room in Fayette and then into a closed, former church building. God breathed life into Vision Church in the spring of 2020.

Vision Church is a non-denominational church aligned and affiliated with the ARC. This relationship provides us with the resources of larger churches made available to our community as well as a strong sense of accountability for how we do ministry.

Vision Church seeks to be REAL, RELEVANT, and RELATIONAL in all we do. God has called us to be authentic with our faith; no games, gimmicks, or secrets. Just real people pursuing a real faith in a very real God. We aren’t perfect. We don’t have all the answers. And we won’t try to be what we’re not.

People need answers for what life throws at them. We won’t waste your time with long, powerless lectures. Here, we aim to connect the Word of God to your life in a relative way, so you can get the answers you need. Through small group studies, service projects, and sermons aimed at your life, our goal is to see Scripture become alive for you. No matter what you face, we feel called to be a place of real solutions to help see you through.

What is life without relationships? Pretty empty. Whether you’ve been here for months or on your first visit, we want everyone to feel like part of the family here. A relational church is one where you can count on support from others, through prayer, service, conversation, friendship, and fun. And if you haven’t already been introduced, we want to help you meet Jesus for yourself. At Vision Church, we walk through life together-because none of us were meant to be alone.

We’re not the biggest church around, and we surely aren’t the oldest. But if you are looking for a fresh expression of faith, a different way to be church, or a new direction for your life, Vision Church has a place for you.
